Don't miss the world premiere of the ballet this weekend!

The tale of King Arthur and Camelot is one that has something to offer everyone, sort of like used car dealerships in Cincinnati. With nuances of heroism, love, pride, dignity, and everything in-between, it can entice both the battle fanatic and the romance lover. What more could you ask for? Well how about the world premiere of the story in the form of a ballet? That’s right, the Cincinnati Ballet is teaming up with all the local talents to bring you a never before seen telling of the story. For now, the show is just happening this weekend, so maybe you should look into it as a surprise Valentine’s Day gift? Here is what the site has to say about the production:

The highlight of our 50th Season comes in February when we bring you a major, world premiere ballet based on the legendary tale of King Arthur’s Camelot. The brand-new work includes costumes by Sandra Woodall, one of the dance world’s most sought-after designers, an original musical composition by John Estacio and sets by Joe Tilford, familiar to Cincinnati audiences through his long-time relationship with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Complete with magic, projections, puppets, jousting and all things Camelot, this will be Cincinnati Ballet’s biggest full-length ballet adventure in decades.
