Owning a new car can bring with it a feeling of pride. Buying a car is not a small purchase, and when a goal is reached and a car is purchased, that moment deserves prideful recognition. While simply owning a new or used car can be enough to make its new owner feel a sense of accomplishment, if that car had awards and recognition to go along with it, the amount of pride would be quickly multiplied.

The 2013 Chevrolet Silverado has recently been recognized by J.D. Power and Associates with the highest possible five out of five-star rating in its Initial Quality Survey (IQS). The score is based on responses from more than 83,000 lessees and purchasers of the 2013 pickup truck, and analyzes owner-reported issues in the 90 days a buyer first owns the vehicle. The Silverado earned the esteemed recognition of the 2013 J.D. Power Initial Quality Award in the heavy-duty pickup segment. The large truck was noted for earning high praise from buyers for the ability for it to deliver a premium and flawless customer experience.

John Stadwick is the President and Managing Director for General Motors Middle East Operations, and says that “At GM, we believe that effectively interacting with our customers is the key to meeting and exceeding their expectations. These remarkable results derived from the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study further cement our commitment to the highest standards of operating and service quality.” Not only does the Silverado HD deliver in quality and customer satisfaction, the large pickup is also Chevrolet’s largest-selling truck in the world.
