Dalton doing his thing on Sunday

Happy holidays, fellow Cincinnatians! It is a beautiful morning, and we couldn’t be happier! Not only is it Christmas, with the cheer being felt all over, but this is the post where we are going to talk about the big Bengals win on Sunday against the Vikings. Andy Dalton blew us away with his brilliant performance, and it truly is a testament to his prowess. Three seasons in the NFL, three times in the playoffs. There is something to be said about a man with such an especially brilliant just-getting-started career. Can you tell that we have been talking about this non-stop at our Buy Here Pay Here dealership?

Dalton is set with another chance to win when it matters most. He threw a whopping four touchdown passes on Sunday, while linebacker Vincent Rey returned an interception 25 yards for a score and the Bengals had another big day at home. How big? Well, they beat the Minnesota Vikings 42-14 on Sunday! The even better news that comes from this is that just a few minutes after the Bengals (10-5) won their game, Miami lost to Buffalo 19-0. That clinched them a playoff berth. In even better news, Baltimore lost to New England at home 41-7. It was this Baltimore loss that allowed the Bengals to clinch the AFC North title. It’s their first division title since 2009, and only their 8th in the past 46 seasons.

A lot of the spotlight has been directed at Dalton in ‘light’ of this, being 3 for 3 with playoffs and all. This is the first time in the history of the Bengals that they have reached the playoffs in three straight seasons. “To be in the playoffs every year since I’ve been here is huge,” said Dalton, only the fifth quarterback in NFL history to make the playoffs in each of his first three seasons. “It gives you a chance to accomplish the ultimate goal.” We are so proud to be Cincinnatians, and we can’t wait to be sitting at the edge of our seats with each play.
